This is a level II/intermediate class (practitioners should have a basic understanding of yoga terms and postures). The perfect way to refresh your personal practice! WHAT IS A CHAKRA AND WHY DO I CARE?! Simply put- it's an energy center in various parts of the body. A balanced chakra system relates to our health-- mentally, emotionally, as well as physically. An out of balance or "blocked" chakra can result in feeling "stuck" or anxiousness among other various feelings and aches and pains in the body. Get to know yourself on a deeper level and explore other ways to take care of yourself- mind, body, and soul. Learn how to bring balance through movement in this series. We will move through each of the chakras (there are 7!) with a practice focused on the chakra systems. Perfect timing- as our first practice will be centered on the root chakra.
